Want a safe place for your dog to play, meet other dogs, and ensure all are vaccinated and spayed/neutered? Check out Sun City Center Community Association’s off the leash dog park.
Sun City Center has a dog owner’s club (D.O.G.) and a dog park open from dawn to dusk year-round for members. There are separate areas for small dogs (under 30 lbs) and large dogs (30 lbs and over), both well-maintained with grass, shade trees, agility equipment, poop bags, and pavilions with fans. The park is sprayed yearly for bugs and mowed weekly, maintained by the Sun City Center Community Association. The club keeps records to ensure dogs are vaccinated and spayed/neutered. Membership costs $35 per household annually and includes three meetings/dinner socials each year.
Each dog will get a tag with the S.C.C. Security Patrol phone number. If your dog is lost and found, someone can call S.C.C. Security Patrol, and they will scan the chip and notify you.
Membership for the 2025 season is available until December 31, 2025. The park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
Residents of S.C.C., Freedom Plaza, or Aston Gardens who pay yearly S.C.C. dues but not DOG $35 dues may use the park before 8am and after 6pm year-round and are considered non-members. Non-member dog owners are required to complete an application, show proof of up-to-date vaccinations, proof of spayed/neutered and send in a self-addressed stamped envelope to receive a black dog tag. Proof of your SCC badge will be required while on the premises. This requirement ensures that all dogs entering the park are vaccinated and spayed/neutered.
